Dr.
Jac D. Scheiner, joined Radiology Associates of Main
Street (RAMS) on June 9, 2003. Prior to relocating
to New York, Dr,
Scheiner was an attending radiologist at the Rhode Island Hospital of
Brown University, specializing in Nuclear Medicine and PET.
After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from
Rutgers University, Dr. Scheiner received his medical degree from the
University of Pennsylvania. He then completed a Diagnostic Radiology
residency at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a Nuclear
Medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General
Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel/Deaconess
Hospital, and Boston Children's Hospital).
Dr. Scheiner is Board Certified in
Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He is an active member in
numerous medical societies and is a journal reviewer for three major
radiological publications. He is credited with 13 publications in
peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Scheiner has also given 29 invited
presentations and lectures.
He is also credited with numerous
electronic media presentations, abstracts and scientific exhibits, as
well as a book chapter and a scientific research grant.
